Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the StepShot browser extension and the StepShot web app at stepshot.profitmas.com. By using either, you agree to what follows.
Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done under your account.
- One account per person. Don't share logins.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use StepShot.
Acceptable use
StepShot captures screenshots of whatever you record. Use your judgment. In particular:
- Don't capture someone else's private data. If you record a page with a teammate's email inbox, customer records, PHI, or similar, you're responsible for the handling of that data.
- Don't capture payment card data. StepShot is not PCI-compliant and is not meant for recording anywhere a credit card number is on screen.
- Don't use StepShot to harass, defraud, impersonate, or distribute malware.
- Don't try to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
Your content
You own the recordings, annotations, and guides you create. By publishing a public share link, you grant us a limited license to host and serve that content so anyone you share the link with can view it. Disable the share link and that license ends.
Availability
StepShot is provided as-is. We do our best to keep the service running but we don't guarantee uptime, and we may need to take things offline for maintenance, security, or abuse response. We may also change or discontinue features at any time.
Termination
You can delete your account any time by emailing nistre@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put the service at risk.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of StepShot. Our total liability for any claim is capped at what you have paid us in the past 12 months, or $50 if that's greater.
Changes to these terms
If we make material changes we'll update the date above and, if you have an account, send a notice before the change takes effect. Continuing to use StepShot after that means you accept the new terms.
